#108 Sabir Muhammad

About this episode

Sabir Muhammad is a World Championship medalist and breaker of 10 American Records. How did a young black kid from a tough Atlanta neighborhood become a 25-time All-American swimmer at Stanford University? Partly thanks to the City of Atlanta Dolphins Swim Team and Coach Tommie Lee Jackson

Sabir is a proud father to four and the founder of the Atlanta Swim School. The Atlanta Swim School has taught thousands of children to swim, many by Sabir himself.  The Atlanta Swim School offers lessons for students of all ages, from infancy to adulthood, and believes that anyone, at any age or economic background, can benefit from swimming. Their motto is true and beautiful: "Swimming is Freedom".

This episode is brought to you by Aquavolo, the inventor of Drag Sox, one of my favorite pieces of training equipment. There is no simpler training tool to build power in the water than a pair of Drag Sox. Which is exactly why we partnered with them. Order a pair of Drag Sox, type in "BRETT" at checkout, and save 10%! Available globally! This offer is good through November so order now!
