105 Years of Bus Network Loyalty

0:00On April 29th, two veteran bus mechanics in the West Midlands just retired after racking up a combined 105 years on the job with National Express. Rob Embley and Lauchon spent most of their careers keeping buses running smooth at the Perry Bar Depot starting way back in 1973. Law kick things off on August 29th that year as a garage youth with West Midlands passenger transport building a 52-year run fueled by straight up dedication. Rob jumped in a couple months later on November 12th on what was supposed to be a four-week trial that turned into another 52 years of solid work. Colleagues gave them a huge send-off to celebrate their loyalty, the kind you rarely see these days. Their reliability made them team staples, always showing up and getting it done right. Rob even stepped up in 2011 as shift safety officer, watching out for everyone's safety and upholding those high standards writers count. On, National Express leaders called it a lifetime of real contribution to the bus network.
