福島県在住の作家 小野はるかさんの『後宮の検屍女官』の第７巻を読みました。中華後宮を舞台にしたミステリです。サイン本というのでつい購入したのですが、７巻から読んで面白いかと思ったら、意外と楽しく読むことができました。この小説の元は『後宮の検屍妃』というタイトルで、2020年に角川キャラクター大賞の大賞と読者賞をW受賞した作品。なるほど！キャラクターが面白いとお話って、自然に面白くなるんだなと思いました。これからどんな他の本を書いているのか読むのが楽しみです。
