鬼生田貞雄さんの『北満』がkindle本で出たので読みました。満州国北部、侵攻するソ連兵から逃れる日本の小さな部隊の物語。極限化におかれることで人間性はどうなるかという小説です。鬼生田さんも抑留経験されていたということで、北満地域の描写が鮮烈です。現在の日本には馴染みの少ない満州国の大陸の山岳地帯、この小説を深く理解するためには、たくましい想像力がもっと欲しいと思いました。
