Today we're joined by Primavera De Filippi, a research fellow at Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet & Society, and research director at the National Center of Scientific Research in Paris. 

A long time researcher on blockchain technology, she is the director of the European-funded research project "Blockchaingov" and a co-host of the The Blockchain Socialist podcast series called "Overthrowing the Network State" in which provides an alternative narrative to the popular concept being put forth by Balaji.

Primavera joins Kevin today to explore the pros and cons of the Network State and discuss at a broad scale what we can do to organize alternatives.
