100 Miler Training Insights and Race Strategy with Keifer Gilbert
About this episode
What does it really take to really train for and complete your first 100 miler? This episode will share everything you need to know as our guest today shares his in-depth experience training for and finishing his first 100 miler.
This episode comes from the lens of an ultrarunner who also has a full-time job and a family with two young kids. And his name is Keifer Gilbert.
Keifer came to me after going through several 100 mile training blocks that didn’t quite go to plan, and he needed a training regime that would put him on the right track to confidently prepare for his first 100 mile race.
And within a matter of months, Keifer’s pace sped up, he became more confident, and gained all the tools needed to eventually finish the race. All the while still showing up for his family and full-time job.
And in this episode, Keifer shares exactly how he did it, so you can finish your first (or next) 100 miler in the best way possible.
Huge thank you to Keifer for coming on the show!
