The National Palace Museum is a great location to visit if you are an art lover. Established in
1965, the National Palace Museum has one of the world’s largest collections of Chinese imperial
artifacts and art, with a collection size of nearly 700,000 pieces. These treasures were brought to
Taipei from mainland China by the Chiang Kai-shek government. And don’t forget to see the
Jadeite Cabbage and the Meat-shaped stone, two of the most popular exhibits.
Not just inside the museum, outside the National Palace Museum is an amazing garden that is
well worth a visit when you are at the museum.
