About this episode
Meet Tanya Valdes, an American Pilgrim, who made her dream come true of owning an albergue on the Camino! She achieved this after surviving cancer, walking numerous Camino's in celebration, searching long and hard for the right location, and then lovingly restoring the perfect place to convert into an albergue. Tanya's place, La Cala A Pilgrims Inn, is on the Coastal Portuguese Route in the beautiful Spanish village of Oia. As soon as you meet Tanya, you will see that both she and her lovely inn are true lanterns for the tired Pilgrim ready for a great night's restoration after a long day of walking! Check out the link to her website and Facebook page below.
