«هل حدث هذا فعلًا، أم تخيَّلتُ الأمر برمته؟ هل وقعتُ فعلًا في غرام كريم المالكي الممثل المشهور ووقع هو في غرامي، أنا؛ مدرسة اللغة الإنجليزية؟ وإن كان كلّ هذا قد حدث، فكيف أنام هنا الآن وحدي، أشاهد صورہ على «إنستجرام»، وهو نائم مع زوجته في بيتهما؟»
«فرح» تستيقظ من نومها لتبدأ يومًا فاصلًا في حياتها. ستدمِّر البيت الذي قضت فيه طفولتها، وتترك الرجل الوحيد الذي أحبَّته بكل جوارحها، وتودِع أمَّها في دار للمسنين ثم تُلغي زفاف ابنتها بالقوَّة. هل فقدت «فرح» عقلها وقلبها وإنسانيتها أم تحاول إنقاذ نفسها ومَنْ تُحبَ من فقدان كلّ هذا؟
«حكاية فرح» رواية عن الحب والأمومة والحريَّة، وعن الإنسانية التي يجرفها نهر الزمن بعيدًا.
