きだ みのる（本名・山田吉彦、1895年（明治28年）1月11日 – 1975年（昭和50年）7月25日） は、鹿児島県奄美大島出身の小説家、翻訳者。代表作『気違い部落』シリーズは映画化もされた。
当時日本も前のめりになったイラク戦争は後になって大義のないことが判明した。2017年に100年を迎えるロシア革命によるソ連邦の崩壊も意外な結末だった。中国の文化大革命の評価も同様だ。時間の経過とともにしだいに真実がわかってくる。生きているわずかの時間では事件の意味や正誤はなかなか分からない。どのような分野においても歴史の審判を見届けるには時間がかかる。
