Today's guest will be well known to many of you. He was, at the time of this interview, the director general of the Institute of Economic Affairs, the leading free market think tank in the UK. Formerly he was the chief press spokesman for the Liberal Democrats and an advisor to the Conservative Party under Prime Minister David Cameron.
Mark also sits on the Board of Big Brother Watch, a non-profit organisation fighting for the protection of privacy and civil liberties in the UK.
