If there ever was a contender for God's favourite Bible verse, it would probably be Psalm 110:1. It is the most quoted verse in the New Testament - and for good reason! Psalm 110 is one of the clearest Messianic Psalms and also one which clearly shows us the victory of Christ over all his enemies. Some have even called it the most Postmillennial Psalm of the Bible...

In this episode, we take a look at Psalm 110 and its inspired interpretation through the New Testament to see what it means and how it should affect our lives today. We unpack some of the context, the meaning of the original Hebrew and how the New Testament writers used it to speak of Jesus Christ. From this, we see that Jesus Christ really is the Conquering Priest-King who is at the Right Hand of God the Father, ruling and reigning now as he puts all his enemies under his feet in history. This is a vision of the ascended Christ that is not for the faint of heart, but one whom we all need to see!
