About this episode
In this conversation with Fred of Counting Coup Tactical, we address how so much of Gun Culture has been using capability as a vector for evaluating the morality of the subject. This leads to a discussion on how the increased capabilities of both individuals and government has opened up new moral quandaries.
At what cost? At what cost do we maintain liberty or safety, and are they at odds? The capability of government organizations to collect data expands, it also leads to new question on who are of interest, and what that entails when it comes to a society which at least claims to value freedom.
In the second half we look at what the long term goal of Gun Culture could be.
