神社の本殿以外にある小さな祠(ほこら)やお社(おやしろ)は、メインの神様と関連の深い神様をお祀りしている場合が多いです。
その土地に古くから存在していた神様や、近隣の神社から移された神様が祀られていることもあります。
「神様に大小はない」と私は思います。
小さな祠(ほこら)やお社(おやしろ)にも等しく敬意を払い、全ての神様を平等に敬う気持ちが大切だと思います。
