025 - How Public Education was Created

The current main model of public education in the United States is based on ideologies that were pushed by organizations created by and for the richest Americans of the early 20th century. Rockefeller, Ford, Carnegie. They say themselves what they did to do this, and they describe it in no uncertain terms in quotes. Today we discuss the effect that these organizations had on education, and discuss quotes by these men, the advisors that ran the organizations, and the helpless educators who watched their former system be destroyed in favor of a system that helped the manufacturing giants have enough human capital to run their firms and make themselves more rich.
