About this episode
We finally welcome an Italian to the Total Waterpolo Podcast, and who better than Giulia Emmolo to join us on the show this week!
In an energetic talk with James, Giulia talks about how she got into the sport, her experiences playing professionally for Imperia, Ekipe Orizzonte and Olympiacos, as well as her Olympic experiences in London 2012 and Rio 2016 - the latter in which she took home an Olympic Silver Medal.
The Italian International then talks about the disappointment of not being picked for the Olympic Qualifying competition for the Tokyo Olympics, and the setback of Italy not qualifying for the Olympics at all. At the back end of the show, Emmolo talks about the future of the Setterosa and why Italy should be optimistic about the future.
With every podcast episode comes the Q&A in part 2 - in which Emmolo gives her Total 7, her relationship with Tania Di Mario and who she thinks could be the next big star for the Italian National Team.
