Al Bayan radio presents reflections from Suratul Mulk, presented by Sheikh Nasim Abdi. In the name of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. And may Allah also bless his family and his brothers and sisters. In inshaAllah, peace be upon you. We go through verse 16 and 17. And these two verses from Surat Al Mulk are very important verses. for a multitude of reasons and we'll explain some of which Allah has done after mentioning the ayat. Allah has already said, Arabic Allah has already said, Do you feel secure that he who is over the heavens will not cause the earth to sink with you and then behold it shakes, any earthquakes? Do you feel secure that he who is above the heavens will not send against you a violent whirlwind,

then you shall know how terrible has been my warning. Allah has done after mentioning some of the good that he provides for us, he reminds us that there can be harms, there can be punishments that he is saving us from, but it may happen. And so there is now targheb and tarheb, there is bringing the hearts closer through love and attraction and one and a zaya, but there is also bringing the hearts closer through fee. As we mentioned before, they believe a fee is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but also loves Allah Azza wa Jalla and hopes in the mercy from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We never wish Allah Azza wa Jalla without the other being present. Yes, there may be times where we need to increase in one of them for a particular reason, but the general rule is that both should be present when we want to wish Allah Azza wa Jalla and that's what it means to be a complete believer. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says, do you feel secure, do you feel safe that he who was above the heavens

and this is a rhetorical question. This is a rhetorical question, yani, you should not be feeling safe. This is a warning from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that you are all good now, you are healthy now, you have wealth now, you have safety, everything is good in your life, it could flip straight away, it could flip very easily. It is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that is keeping unknown dangers to you, unknown harms to you away from you. So keep your ta'ala, Allah Azza wa Jalla, keep your reliance on Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala by doing the good and taking the means to achieve that good and having that reliance on him to keep that bad away from you. Now, if you look at the next part, do you feel secure that he who is above the heavens? Man Fissama, Fissama, the word fee is something used in the Arabic language as a place of positioning, but fee can mean in and it can also mean other words and this is something known in the Arabic language,

which is Harufa Jarratatabadal, the Haruf of Jarr, they have a certain usage in the Arabic language, they can be interchanged, just like Allah Azza wa Jalla says, would khulu fee aibadi, enter fee aibadi, it doesn't mean enter into my slaves, no, it means enter with my slaves, enter with my slaves, and the famous Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ where he said, have mercy on those fill the earth, not in the earth, what it means on the earth, have mercy on those on earth, the ones on the heavens, any above the heavens, will have mercy upon you, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is above the heavens, and that's why when the alama asks about the best book in Aakida, they mention the Qur'an, the Qur'an the brothers and sisters is very clear, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is very clear in his speech, this Qur'an is Qur'an in Arabic and Mubin, clear Arabic Qur'an, Allah Azza wa Jalla says, not want us to be misguided the Ayat of Allah,

Allah Azza wa Jalla wants us to be guarded, and that's why the Qur'an is a hudan l-innas, it is a guidance for mankind, how dare Ayatun Billah those to have these incorrect beliefs based upon philosophical principles, not based on Qur'an or Sunnah or the same as other Salaf, Rasulullah al-Ala al-Humid al-Jama'in, no, rather based on philosophical principles, some people that say that Allah Azza wa Jalla is everywhere, Allah Azza wa Jalla is nowhere, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is outrightly they say not above the heavens, in complete contradiction to the Qur'an, and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, hundreds, literally hundreds of texts, either directly or indirectly speak, about Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala being above the throne, how is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala above the throne? Say Allah wa Alam, the exact hows we don't know, how is your Ruh, how is your Ruh, explain your consciousness, people can't explain these things because they are from al-Mulqaib, they are from the knowledge of the unseen, so the Salaf, they would say we're not neither cave, we're not neither how, as for its reality then we affirm its reality

because Allah Azza wa Jalla affirmed it in the Qur'an, and Allah Azza wa Jalla created us like this with this fitra, that we believe that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is above, this is natural, even if you look at many of the older generations, from our grandmothers and above, many of them if the shoe was flipped upside down, they would actually flip it the right way over, thinking that it's disrespect for why, because it's pointing above, towards Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala meaning towards the heavens, so even this natural fitra is in this older generation of people who have no knowledge whatsoever, not that they themselves are in evidence, but to show you that these people who grew up in misguided communities, in terms of the Masha'ikh, they were around in many of their villages and town, they were people who were from misguided sex, except that they had as part of their natural disposition, their natural fitra, that Allah Azza wa Jalla is above, and as we mentioned a firm in the Qur'an,

and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, and in the direct and explicit statements of, the Salafi radul ala'anhum ajma'in, and anyone who says otherwise, we say, call her to burhanakum, in kuntum saadiyaqeen, say, give your proof, give your evidence if you indeed are truthful, bring us from the Qur'an, bring us from the Sunnah, bring us from the explicit statements of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, the Allah Azza wa Jalla is not above the throne, because we can bring you explicit evidence, that he subhanahu wa ta'ala is, so we need to love Allah, we need to fear Allah, but that comes by believing in Allah Azza wa Jalla, properly, and who knows Allah, better than Allah Azza wa Jalla himself, so believe what Allah SWT says about himself, and who wants more goodness for us, then Allah SWT, so believe what Allah Azza wa Jalla told you about himself, because that's what he wants. Imagine Ayatun Bila, some of these people believing, that if you believe what Allah said, Ayatun Bila, you're a Muslim. Imagine how crazy that concept is,

but some of these people actually believe it, the people of misguidance and innovation. Mahallahu Azza wa Jalla, grant us the correct belief in him, and then I'll also dive upon it, wa salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
