Wa am-ma bad al-Salamani wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Prophetic gems in jimna bat-12, inna li kulledin in khul-uqa wa khul-uqul islam al-hayat. As a Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, every religion has a distinctive quality and a distinctive quality of Islam is modesty. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent to perfect noble character and righteous manners. For would character beautifies a person makes the scale of these heavy and increases faith. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also said, akmalul mu'minina iman an ahsana hum khul-uqa. The most complete of believers in faith are those with the best character. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has made for every religion a distinct moral quality by which it is known. And he made the distinctive quality of this religion,

1:01the religion of Islam modesty. Hayat. For islam is the adorment of religions just as modesty is the adorment of character. modesty is coupled with faith. As the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, al-hayat wa il-e-manu korinaje mi'a faitha rufi a'a a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'. modesty and faith are paid together. And if one of them is removed, the other is removed. Hayat as a word is defined by many scholars amongst them was al-junayd rahmahu-u-doha'a'a'a'a. He said, modesty is seeing blessings and seeing one's shortcomings. And from the two, a state is born that is called modesty. He also said its true reality is a trait that urges one to abandon while acts and prevents negligence regarding the right of the one who has a right. Some scholars define it with a comprehensive definition and they say it is a trait that carries its possessor to do what is

2:08beautiful and telly what is ugly. The state of modesty is the emblem of the righteous and the garment of the God-fearing and the proof of intellect, character and religion. In this world it is a path to goodness and righteousness. In the hereafter it is a means to happiness and success. Ibn al-Qayyam Rahimahu Allahu Ta'ala said while speaking about modesty, modesty is the foundation of all goodness. It is the best and the most noble of manners. The greatest of them in rank and the most beneficial. Were it not for this trait, promises would not be fulfilled, trusts would not be delivered, no one's needs would be met, a man would not seek what is beautiful and prefer it, nor avoid what is ugly. He would not cover his private parts nor refrain from indecency. He would not respect the rights of any created beings, nor maintain family tides,

3:09nor be beautiful to his parents. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam spoke the truth about modesty and he said al-hayat wa khairun kulluh. Modesty is all good, i.e. it is good in all of its aspect. Ibn al-Qayyam Rahimahu Allahu Ta'ala said that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stated in al-hayaa min al-eemaan. Indeed modesty is part of faith. Indecency is not found in anything except this figures it and modesty is not found in anything except that it be defies it. Modesty is an attribute of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and modesty of generosity, nobility, bounty and kindness, a modesty befitting his majesty, perfection and beauty. First and foremost, Allah said laysa kamith lihi shayahu wa sallam al-basir.

4:15There is nothing like unto him and he is the all-hearing and the all-seeing. The Prophet sallallahu sallam in hadith stating the beauty of Allah's modesty in all, in all Allah's ha'iyyun kareem. Yastahi, if araf al-rajulu ilayhi yadayhi ayyaruddahu maasif ran khaaibatain. Indeed, Allah is modesty and generous. He feels shy when a man raises his hands to him to return them empty and disappointed. He also said alayhi sallat wa sallam In all Allah, aza wa jalla halimun, ha'iyyun sittir, yuhibbul haya wa sittra, faitha ra tasa laaahidu kumfaliya sittatir. Indeed, Allah is for bearing modesty and concealing. He loves modesty and concealment, so when one of you bays, laaim can seal himself. Modesty as well is the character of angels and messengers. The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sayeelab-amusa, innamusa wa kana rajulan ha'iyyun sittir, laa yuraa min jindihi shayun istihyaaan min,

5:19musa wa zayshayim modesty man, nothing of his skin would be seen out of modesty. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was very modesty, kana rasul Allahis sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, ashadda hayaaan min al-Azharaaif he hidriha, the messenger of Allah alayhi sallam wa sallam wasmou modesty, then a virgin in her private chamber. He said alayhi salat wa sallam aba al-Rathman, a companion, and he said, Should I not be shayf before aemon, before whom the angels feel shay. So the angels feel shayf from al-Rathman, so modesty and shaynis is from the attributes of the angels. Modesty as a way of life, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, From what people have retained from the words of the first Prophethood is, if you do not feel shay, then do whatever you wish. Inna min ma'adra kan nasu min kalamin nubu'atil ula, Ifa lam testahi fassna'a ma'ashid, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he says,

6:21Ina'amalu ma'ashidtum inna'hu bi ma'ta'amaluna basir, do whatever you wish, indeed he is seeing of what you do. Yani be modesty and if you choose otherwise Allah is watching you, and you're going to be held accountable for your actions. Amar al-Yallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Man kalla, hayahu, kallawarahu, and man kallawarahu ma'at al-Kalbu. Whoever's modesty decreases, his piety decreases, and whoever's piety decreases, his heart dies. Modesty is an attribute the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam encouraged, and he said, alayhi wa sallam, kullu ummati mu'afa illa l-mujahirin. All of my nation are pardoned except those who publicize their sins. So having no modesty before people, having no shyness when you sin and the subay Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in private, and Allah can seals your shortcomings, and then you go publicly, expose your sins before people, having no modesty in front of people, would cause you to be expelled

7:24and deprived from the blessing of being pardoned by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. On top of it, oh, you should be modesty before Allah, Zawajid. As Allah says in the Qur'an, they hide from people but do not hide from Allah while he is with them. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam advised us to be shy and modesty before Allah saying, I advise you to feel shy before Allah, as you would feel shy before I write you a man from your people. As the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also said, is ta'iyyumil allahi haqq al-hayat, be modesty before Allah with true modesty. So yes, you are encouraged to be modesty in front of people and not be vulgar or indecent in public, but also you should be mindful of Allah, Zawajid, and be more shy with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala than you are with people.

8:26In the Hadith narrated by At-Termi-Dhi from Abdullah, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, be modesty before Allah with true modesty. They said, oh messenger of Allah, we do feel shy and praise be to Allah. He said, alayhi wa sallam, that is not eat. True modesty before Allah is that you got the head and where it contains and God, the stomach and where it contains. And remember, death and decay, whoever desires the hereafter leaves the adamant of this world, whoever does that, has truly shown modesty before Allah, Zawajid. Ibn Rajab, Rahimahullah t-A'ala said, this includes guarding hearing, sight, and the tongue from what is forbidden, and guarding the stomach and where it contains, it includes guarding the heart from persisting in what Allah has forbidden, it also includes guarding the stomach from consuming, what is unlawful from food and drinks, among the greatest things that must be guarded

9:27from the prohibitions of Allah, are the tongue and the private parts. Now we talk about modesty and woman. If modesty in men is manliness, character perfection and beauty, then in women it is more complete and more beautiful. It is for them a dormant beauty, grace, chestety and dignity, and it is the finest of their adorments and the best of their qualities. The cloak of modesty is the greatest covering for the Muslim woman, and it has a tremendous effect on the righteousness of her speech, action and behavior. Among the signs of her modesty are remaining in her home, dignity in her speech, fully covering herself when going out, distancing herself from gatherings of men, fleeing from places of mixing, and being characterised by covering protection and chestety. When a woman abandons modesty,

10:28her nature becomes corrupted, her covering diminishes, her folds appear, she displays her charms, exposes herself to men, increases in mixing with them, shows her adorment before unrelated men and may resemble them, or become lax in speech and interaction with them. In some women, modesty decreases or vanishes altogether, so they show their adorment to strangers and do not hesitate to do what is shameful. So we advise our brothers and sisters to go back to modesty, the characteristic of Islam and prophecy the Prophet Muhammad, Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to make us amongst those who implement the true modesty with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and towards others.
