003: Special–Black Lives Matter, part 2

In part 2 of this special, I continue the conversation on Black Lives Matter. I’m joined by two black men who are like sons to my (very white) family.

We lovingly refer to ourselves as "Team Oreo"—and I’m the cream in the middle.

In part 2, we continue our "family discussion" and explore:

Why there are no shortcut solutions, but there are actions we can take?
How our own lives as "Team Oreo" have been enriched because of our relationship?
How Jahbari & Darius advise us to move forward?

I encourage us all to listen, especially my fellow white friends in the audience. Listen with radical empathy. Listen with the intent of self-reflection and change. The change needs to begin with each of us, in each of us, for the blessing of our fellow black Americans—our friends and neighbors.
