Yūji Horii is a Japanese manga artist and writer, best known for creating the popular manga series Dragon Quest. He was born in 1966 in Tokyo, Japan. Horii has also worked as a character designer and has written for various manga and anime series. He is widely recognized as one of the most influential manga artists of his generation.
