Vincent Gilligan is an American screenwriter, producer, director, and actor. He created the hit TV series Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul. Born in 1967 in Washington, D.C., Gilligan began his career as a writer for several films before moving to television. His work on Breaking Bad earned him numerous awards, including multiple Emmys and a Peabody Award.
