Victoria Woodhull

Victoria Woodhull was a prominent figure in the 19th century who championed women's suffrage and broke numerous societal barriers. Born into poverty, she became one of the first female stockbrokers on Wall Street. In 1872, she made history by announcing her candidacy for President of the United States, becoming the first woman to run for the highest office in the country.
