Veronica Roth

Veronica Roth is an American young adult author best known for her Divergent series. Born in 1988, Roth grew up in a small town in Illinois and developed a love for reading and writing at an early age. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studied psychology and began writing her own stories. After graduating, Roth moved to Chicago and started working as a freelance editor before publishing Divergent in 2011. The series has since become a global phenomenon, inspiring numerous adaptations and cementing Roth's status as a leading voice in young adult literature.
