Vatican II

The Second Vatican Council was a major ecumenical council of the Catholic Church that took place from 1962 to 1965. It was a significant turning point in the history of the Church, as it marked a major shift in the Church's approach to modernity and its relationship with the world. The council was convened by Pope John XXIII and was attended by bishops from around the world.
