V for Vendetta is a fictional character and anarchist icon created by writer Alan Moore and artist David Lloyd. He is the protagonist of the 1982 graphic novel V for Vendetta and has since become a cultural icon of anarchism and resistance. V is known for his masked face and his fight against a dystopian government. He has been the subject of numerous adaptations and interpretations, including the 2005 film V for Vendetta starring Hugo Weaving.
