Tou Lue Vang was convicted in 2005 of raping a ten-year-old child and was set to be deported. He was pardoned by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in an attempt to prevent his deportation. However, Secretary of State Marco Rubio intervened and revoked Vang's legal status.
