Tomáš Zima

Tomáš Zima is a Czech biochemist, physician, and former rector of the University of Karlovy. He is known for his work in the field of biochemistry and has held various academic positions. Zima has also been involved in public policy and has written articles on education and politics. He is currently an emeritus professor at the University of Karlovy. Born in 1955 in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Zima has been a prominent figure in Czech academic and intellectual circles. He has received several awards for his contributions to science and education.
