Thomas Vinterberg

Thomas Vinterberg is a Danish film director, producer, and screenwriter. Born on December 19, 1967, in Kolding, Denmark, he began his career in the film industry as a screenwriter and director of short films. Vinterberg gained international recognition with his debut feature film, The Celebration, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 1998. He has since directed several critically acclaimed films, including The Hunt, Far from the Madding Crowd, and Another Round. Vinterberg has received numerous awards and nominations for his work, including the Academy Award for Best Director for Another Round.
