Thérèse de Lisieux

Thérèse de Lisieux, born Marie Françoise-Thérèse Martin, was a French Catholic Discalced Carmelite nun who became one of the most influential saints in the Catholic Church. Known for her humility and simplicity, she wrote several spiritual works that have become classics in Catholic literature. She is particularly noted for her concept of the 'little way,' which emphasizes living a simple, ordinary life in union with God. Canonized in 1927, she is the patron saint of healing, sick people, missionaries, and writers.
