Terry Eagleton

Terry Eagleton is a British literary critic, scholar, and writer. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Sussex and has written extensively on literature, politics, and culture. Eagleton is known for his work on Marxist theory and his critiques of neoliberalism and capitalism. He has written numerous books, including The Rape of Clarissa and Literary Theory: An Introduction. Eagleton has been a vocal critic of conservative politics and has been a prominent voice in the Labour Party. In his free time, Eagleton enjoys reading and playing chess.
