Ted Lindsay

Ted Lindsay was a Hall of Fame left wing who played for the Detroit Red Wings from 1944 to 1957. He was a key player on the team's Stanley Cup-winning teams in 1950 and 1952. Lindsay was also a pioneer for player rights and was a vocal advocate for better working conditions and fair compensation for players. After retiring from hockey, Lindsay went on to become a successful sports broadcaster, working for various networks, including NBC and ESPN. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966.
