Tarja Turunen

Tarja Turunen is a Finnish symphonic metal singer-songwriter and musician. She was the lead vocalist of the band Nightwish from 1996 to 2005. Turunen is known for her powerful vocals and her work in the progressive metal genre. She has released several solo albums and has collaborated with other artists. Turunen is based in Finland.
