Steven Sund is an American law enforcement officer who served as the Chief of the United States Capitol Police from 2019 to 2021. Sund previously served as the Deputy Chief of the Washington Metropolitan Police Department. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and has served in the United States Army Reserve. Sund has been a prominent figure in American law enforcement and has been a vocal advocate for police reform. He has been married to his wife since 2004 and they have two children together.
