Steve Ellner

Steve Ellner is an economist and journalist who has written extensively on Latin American politics and economics. He is a contributing editor at CounterPunch and has written for various other publications. Ellner has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has lived in Venezuela and has written about the country's economy and politics. Ellner is also a professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has been involved in various social and economic movements throughout his career.
