Stephen Paddock

Stephen Paddock was an American gambler and gunman who carried out the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history in 2017. He was born on January 28, 1953, in Texas and grew up in a middle-class family. Paddock worked as a stock trader and a casino executive before becoming a professional gambler. He was known for his love of guns and his extensive collection of firearms. Paddock's motives for the shooting are still unknown, but it is believed that he was motivated by a combination of financial and psychological factors. He died in the shooting, along with 58 others.
