St Paul

St Paul, also known as Saul of Tarsus, was a Jewish Christian apostle and missionary. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of Christianity. Born in Tarsus, Cilicia, St Paul was a Pharisee who persecuted early Christians before his conversion on the road to Damascus. He went on to found several churches in the Mediterranean region, including the church in Corinth, and wrote several letters to early Christian communities, including the Epistles to the Romans, Corinthians, and Galatians. St Paul is also known for his missionary journeys, during which he traveled extensively throughout the Roman Empire, preaching the gospel and establishing churches. He died in Rome around 64-68 AD.
