Sr. Dac Nghiem is a Buddhist teacher and abbot who has spent his life studying and teaching the Dharma. He is the abbot of the Ocean of Peace Meditation Hall in Deer Park, California, and has been a key figure in the development of the Plum Village community. He has also been a teacher at the Insight Meditation Society and has written numerous articles on Buddhism and mindfulness.
