Shubendu Adhikari is an Indian politician and former Member of Parliament. He was born on December 2, 1962, in Kolkata, India. Adhikari studied at the University of Calcutta and later became a lawyer. He entered politics in 2009 and was a Member of Parliament until 2019. Adhikari has been a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has been involved in several high-profile controversies.
