Shlomo Amar is an Israeli politician and diplomat. He served as the Ambassador to France from 1994 to 2002 and as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2005. Before his diplomatic career, he was a lawyer and worked in various government institutions. Amar has been involved in several high-profile political disputes, including the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
