Shannon Kent

Shannon Kent is a former US Navy cryptologic technician who served as a signals intelligence and electronic warfare specialist. She was one of the first women to serve at the operator level and was widely recognized as one of the best. Kent's work was so secretive that her unit's name cannot be printed. She has spoken publicly about her experiences and the challenges she faced as a woman in a male-dominated field.
