Amir Esdalollah Alam was a high-ranking official in the Imperial Iranian Government, serving as Prime Minister of Iran from 1963 to 1964. He was also a military officer who played a key role in the Iranian coup d'état that overthrew Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1953.
