Senator John Barrasso

John Barrasso is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator from Wyoming since 2007. He is a member of the Republican Party. Before his election to the Senate, Barrasso served as the 45th Governor of Wyoming from 2003 to 2007. He is a physician by training and has practiced medicine in Wyoming. Barrasso is known for his work on healthcare and energy policy. He is also a former chairman of the Senate Republican Conference.
