Saint Peter Julian Eymard was a French Catholic priest and founder of the Priests of the Blessed Sacrament. He was known for his extraordinary devotion to the Eucharist and his efforts to spread adoration of the Blessed Sacrament worldwide. He was canonized as a saint in 1862.
