Sadi Carnot

Sadi Carnot was the President of France from 1887 to 1894. A member of a prominent political family, Carnot was known for his moderate republican views and efforts to bring the people closer to the government. His presidency was marked by significant reforms and his assassination in 1894 by anarchist Sante Geronimo Caserio.
