About Rusney

Rusney Castillo is a Major League Baseball outfielder who currently plays for the Navegantes del Magallanes in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. He played for the Boston Red Sox from 2014 to 2018 and was a member of the team's 2018 World Series championship roster. Castillo is a native of the Dominican Republic and was signed by the Red Sox as an international free agent in 2011. He made his MLB debut in 2014 and quickly established himself as a talented young outfielder.
