Ruhollah Khatami

Ruhollah Khatami is an Iranian politician who served as the President of Iran from 1997 to 2005. He is a member of the Reformist faction within the Iranian opposition. Khatami is known for his efforts to reform Iran's government and economy. He was a professor of literature and philosophy before entering politics. Khatami is a graduate of the University of Tehran and has written several books on literature and politics.
