Rudy Acuña

Rudy Acuña is a pioneering historian and activist who has made significant contributions to the field of Chicano Studies. He is the founder of the nation's first Chicano Studies program at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and has written several books on the subject. Acuña has also been a vocal advocate for social justice and has worked tirelessly to promote the rights of marginalized communities. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the National Council of La Raza's highest honor. Acuña is based in Los Angeles, California.
