Roy Whiting is a British serial child abuser and murderer. He was convicted of the abduction and murder of 8-year-old Sarah Payne in 2000. Whiting was previously convicted of child sex offenses and was serving a life sentence for the abduction and murder of a 7-year-old girl when he was convicted of Payne's murder. He is currently serving a life sentence at HMP Frankland.
