Roberto Gavaldón
Roberto Gavaldón was a Mexican writer, journalist, and screenwriter. He is best known for his novel Macario, which was adapted into a film of the same name. Gavaldón was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Story for the film. He was also a journalist and wrote for several newspapers and magazines. Gavaldón was born in 1906 and died in 1987.
