Robert Hugh Benson

Robert Hugh Benson was a British Catholic author, theologian, and priest. He is best known for his dystopian novel 'Lord of the World', which explores themes of Catholic eschatology and the nature of evil. Benson was born in 1871 and studied at the University of Oxford and the Catholic University of Leuven. He was ordained as a priest in 1897 and served as a chaplain in the British Army during World War I. Benson passed away in 1914.
